Upper Hunter Shire Council in Merriwa, NSW invites applications for a permanent Works Engineer to lead delivery of roads, bridges and drainage projects within a busy council works delivery team. You will oversee construction and maintenance, coordinate contractors and resources, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with Transport for NSW and funding bodies.

A tertiary engineering qualification and WHS experience are required, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualificatIons in Engineering (Civil) and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Work Health and Safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating minor works, capital projects and maintenance activities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee construction and maintenance across roads, bridges, footpaths, drainage, parks and facilities.
• Coordinate resources and contractors to deliver works safely, on time and within budget.
• Liaise with Transport for NSW and contribute to RMCC compliance and funding submissions.
