Job summary

BDO in Brisbane is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to join our Risk Advisory Services team. Lead contract performance audit engagements across major infrastructure and service delivery arrangements, taking ownership and guiding junior staff.

You will work with senior stakeholders, develop team capabilities, and contribute to practice growth while upholding client service excellence in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract performance audit or related assurance work.
• Ability to identify risks and controls and develop audit scopes.
• Experience leading engagements and delivering quality outcomes.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with ability to interpret contracts practically.
• Tertiary qualification in accounting, law or business; professional certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver contract performance audit and assurance engagements.
• Manage end-to-end delivery including planning, scoping, execution and reporting.
• Interpret contractual arrangements and assess performance, compliance and financial outcomes.
• Oversee fieldwork and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Build client relationships and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of methodologies and contribute to practice growth.
