Job summary

BDO Brisbane is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to join the Risk Advisory Services team. You will lead delivery of contract performance audit engagements across major infrastructure and service delivery arrangements, taking ownership and guiding stakeholders.

You will work client-facing, manage planning, scoping, execution and reporting, and mentor junior colleagues while building strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract performance audit or related assurance work.
• Strong risk and control identification and audit scope development.
• Experience leading engagements or workstreams.
• Strong analytical and report writing with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset interpreting contracts in a practical way.
• CA/CPA/CIA desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver contract performance audit and assurance engagements.
• Manage end-to-end delivery, including planning, scoping, execution and reporting.
• Interpret contractual arrangements and assess performance, compliance and financial outcomes.
• Oversee fieldwork and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Build strong client relationships and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of methodologies and contribute to practice growth.
