Job summary

Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service is seeking an Infrastructure Asset Development Manager in Cairns to lead asset management strategy and provide expert, timely advice to support the Engineering Services Manager and the broader CHHHS community.

This role focuses on planning and maintaining efficient asset management strategies across CHHHS, driving risk and compliance, and delivering value across the asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsible leadership in workflow management, staff development and training, mentoring, performance auditing, policy and procedure development and continuous improvement for the asset management activities across the Cairns and Hinterland HHS.
• Develop and implement a range of policies, systems and procedures to ensure the CHHHS asset management system delivers outcomes that align with strategic intentions, and that ensure risk and compliance is managed, and value is derived from existing and proposed assets over the asset lifecycle.
• Develop asset management/maintenance decision support tools in line with ISO 55001, resulting in options and solutions for service delivery/infrastructure programs.
