SKG Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced IT & Security Operations Manager to lead daily IT operations and strengthen cybersecurity and risk governance. This hands-on leadership role focuses on infrastructure stability, security controls and continuous improvement across technology operations.

You will manage IT procurement, onboarding, asset lifecycle and report metrics to senior stakeholders, driving compliance and alignment with regulatory requirements.

SKG Group is seeking an experienced IT & Security Operations Manager to join our Technology & Information team in Sydney. This is a hands‑on operational leadership role suited to someone who can manage IT infrastructure and security while also driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and technology operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day IT operations while strengthening the organisation's infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management and technology governance.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to-

• Overseeing day‑to‑day IT operations, infrastructure stability, system performance and uptime.
• Managing network security, cybersecurity and IT risk initiatives to protect systems and organisational data.
• Overseeing IT hardware and software procurement, asset management and lifecycle processes.
• Managing employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including system access, hardware and software allocation.
• Ensuring IT security controls and processes align with organisational, regulatory and industry requirements.
• Monitoring security risks, vulnerabilities, incidents and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Producing and analysing reports covering system performance, security incidents, compliance and IT risk.
• Reporting key IT and security metrics to senior management and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives across IT and security operations.
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and the broader Technology & Information team.
