Solum Medical in Melbourne, VIC, is seeking an Information Technology Product Manager to lead the lifecycle of healthcare software products, from discovery through launch and continuous improvement. This on-site role is based in Laverton North.

You will collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to translate needs into clear requirements, prioritise the backlog with engineering, QA and implementation teams, and monitor performance to drive releases and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT project coordination, project management, business systems or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Supply Chain, E-commerce or a related field
• Experience working with software, digital platforms, business systems or internal tools
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills
• Ability to organise tasks, track details and push issues to closure
• Good written English and documentation skills
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and cross-border teams
• Strong ownership, logical thinking and willingness to learn

Role Description

The Information Technology Product Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Laverton North, VIC. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of healthcare software products, from discovery and requirements gathering through development, launch, and continuous improvement. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clinical and business stakeholders to understand needs, translating those needs into clear business and technical requirements, and prioritising the product backlog. The Product Manager will work closely with engineering, QA, and implementation teams to ensure timely delivery, monitor product performance, and coordinate enhancements and issue resolution. The role also involves analysing user feedback and product data, preparing documentation and release notes, and supporting training and go-live activities.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess user needs, and support evidence-based product decisions.
• Solid foundation in information technology, including understanding of software development processes and healthcare IT environments.
• Experience in product management, with a track record of managing product roadmaps and delivering software solutions.
• Ability to define and document business requirements and map them to system capabilities.
• Understanding of business processes in healthcare or related industries, with the ability to identify process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across clinical, technical, and operational teams.
• Experience working with or managing healthcare software (e.g., PMS, OMS, WMS) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Supply Chain, E-commerce or a related field
• Experience working with software, digital platforms, business systems or internal tools
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills
• Ability to organise tasks, track details and push issues to closure
• Good written English and documentation skills
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and cross-border teams
• Strong ownership, logical thinking and willingness to learn

Preferred

• Experience with e-commerce, OMS, WMS, ERP, CRM, supply chain systems or SaaS platforms
• Experience supporting UAT, system rollout, release coordination or business process improvement
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Notion, Confluence, Microsoft Planner or similar
• Understanding of basic software development lifecycle and agile workflows
• Experience working with China-based teams or international stakeholders
• Mandarin communication ability is a plus, but not mandatory
