Job summary

Data#3, in partnership with Cisco and Women in Digital, invites female IT students from Griffith, QUT, or UQ to join the Brenda Conroy Future Leaders Internship Program. This paid two-week experience runs February 1–12, 2027, with rotations across Data#3 Toowong and Cisco Brisbane City.

Participants will gain hands-on exposure, professional mentorship, and networking opportunities while balancing university commitments, with up to 38 hours per week and supportive scheduling.

Qualifications

• Student in final two years of undergraduate IT degree (Griffith, QUT, or UQ) in 2027.
• Available for the full two-week program (Mon–Fri).
• Access to transportation between Toowong and Brisbane City.

Responsibilities

• Rotational placement across Data#3, Cisco, and WiD.
• Participation in networking events and mentor sessions.
• Up to 38 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate university commitments.

Applications are now open for the 2027 Brenda Conroy Future Leaders Internship Program—a unique, paid, and immersive two-week experience with Data#3, Cisco, and Women in Digital (WID).

About the Program

Developed in partnership with Cisco and Women in Digital (WiD), this program honours the legacy of Brenda Conroy, who dedicated over 35 years to Data#3. Brenda’s career—spanning logistics, sales, and customer support—was defined by her passion, excellence, and commitment to empowering others.

The internship continues her legacy by supporting female IT students to gain industry insight, build skills, and explore diverse career pathways in technology.

• Cisco: A global networking and technology leader, transforming the way the world connects, communicates, and collaborates.
• Women in Digital (WiD): An organisation championing woman in the digital and IT sectors, committed to nurturing the next generation of digital leaders and supporting diversity initiatives.
• Duration: 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, from 1 February to 12 February 2027
• Locations: Data#3 (Toowong) and Cisco (Brisbane City)
• Format: Rotational placement across each organisation, including specialty days and networking events

About You

To be eligible, you must:

• Be a student in the final two years of an undergraduate IT degree at Griffith, QUT, or UQ (in 2027)
• Be available for the full two-week program (Monday–Friday)
• Have access to transportation between Toowong and Brisbane City.
• Hands-On Experience: Work alongside industry professionals across IT leading organisations.
