Job summary

Dhelkaya Health in regional Victoria is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to lead infection prevention initiatives across our facility, protect patients, residents, staff and visitors.

You will drive staff education, coordinate immunisation programs and contribute to quality improvement activities, with a focus on maintaining a safe healthcare environment. This ongoing part-time role offers flexible arrangements and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
• Post Exposure Counselling certification or willingness to undertake.
• Current Nurse Immunisation Certification or willingness to undertake.
• Postgraduate qualification in Infection Control.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention initiatives to protect patients, staff and visitors.
• Deliver staff education on infection control practices.
• Coordinate immunisation programs for patients and staff.
• Drive quality improvement activities related to infection control.

Education
