Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Pty Ltd is seeking a hands‑on Plumber to work across a large industrial site in North Queensland. You will maintain, repair and install plumbing systems supporting factory operations, including underground stormwater, sanitary and water piping, pumps and valves.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability and practical problem solving in a busy industrial environment. You will collaborate with other trades and operators, respond to maintenance needs, and mentor apprentices while

Qualifications

Qualified Plumber
Industrial & heavy industry experience preferred
Safety‑conscious and practical problem solver

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair and install plumbing systems and components across the site, including underground stormwater, sanitary and water piping systems, pumps, valves and fittings.
Fabricate plumbing components and install pipework, valves, fittings and related equipment.
Respond to maintenance requirements, inspect equipment and identify faults for safe, reliable factory operations.
Collaborate with other trades and operational teams to plan and complete maintenance activities.
Provide on‑the‑job guidance to apprentices and trainees to build skills.
Complete work orders, permits, timesheets and site reports accurately.
