Job summary

South32 is seeking a Plumber for a permanent full-time position on a 7:7 roster. The role involves delivering plumbing and hydraulic services to support remediation and construction projects, with safety, environmental and quality compliance as priorities.

FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires. You will interpret drawings, perform fault finding and system upgrades, and work with project teams to minimise disruption while meeting high

Qualifications

Industrial plumbing experience in mining, heavy construction, or large-scale projects.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs/upgrades to plumbing systems.
Interpret technical drawings and project specs to ensure quality outcomes.
Collaborate with trades, contractors and project teams for seamless delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver plumbing and hydraulic services for remediation, refurbishment and construction projects.
Complete fault finding, repairs and upgrades across systems.
Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
Support project planning to minimise operational disruption.
