Job summary

SRG Global is seeking qualified and experienced Pipefitters to join our team for site-based work across the Kwinana Industrial Area and Southwest. With a strong pipeline of shutdown activity, this is a great opportunity for ongoing work with a reputable, growing company.

You will read drawings, replace and modify pipework, fit components, and support welding teams while maintaining safety standards in live plant environments.

Qualifications

• Trade-certified pipefitter with Australian Certificate III or equivalent.
• Working Safely at Heights within last 2 years.
• Confined Space Entry within last 2 years.
• Current High Risk Work Licence (WP desirable) and valid licence.
• Pass pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, isometric drawings and specifications.
• Removing, replacing and modifying pipework, valves, flanges and fittings during planned shutdowns and maintenance outages.
• Measuring, marking, cutting, beveling and preparing pipe using hand and power tools.
• Fitting and aligning pipe, valves, flanges and fittings ahead of welding.
• Performing tack welding if qualified, or working closely with welders.
• Using equipment such as band saws, pipe threaders, grinders, hydraulic benders and lifting equipment.
• Checking dimensions and quality to ensure work meets project specifications and tolerances.
• Working safely in live plant environments, following site permit and isolation requirements.
• Working as part of a team to meet tight shutdown schedules.
