DFT Holdings (WA) Pty Ltd ATF DFT Trust is seeking a skilled Painter Blaster to join our team across Western Australian projects and client sites. Responsibilities include surface preparation, applying protective coatings, operating blasting and painting equipment, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Travel throughout WA is required, with a focus on live gas pipeline and infrastructure projects. We offer a full-time role with an annual salary of A$80,000 to A$90,000 plus superannuation,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of painting and blasting experience.
• Experience in abrasive blasting and protective coating application.
• Willingness to travel across Western Australia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust and debris.
• Apply paints/protective coatings using spray equipment, brush or roller.
• Repair metal frames, spools or pipelines.
• Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment, including compressors and spray guns.
• Select and prepare paints, thinners, and coatings according to specs.
• Mix paints and additives to achieve correct colour.
• Adhere to safety protocols and dispose of spent materials per SDS.
• Clean equipment and work areas; maintain good housekeeping.
• Travel to project locations and client sites across WA.
