You will prepare, protect and finish industrial surfaces to high standards for our industrial clients across South Australia, blending hands-on coating work with precision and safety.

This role demands experience with abrasive blasting, spray equipment, and coatings, plus the ability to read technical specs and work as part of a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Industrial Painter/Blaster or similar role.
• Knowledge of abrasive blasting and coating systems.
• Ability to read technical specs and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety and PPE usage.
• Physical fitness for heights and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting including sandblasting and grit blasting.
• Prepare surfaces by grinding, sanding and cleaning.
• Apply protective coatings and paints using spray equipment, brushes and rollers.
• Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Inspect completed work for quality and proper preparation.
• Maintain records of work, materials and timelines.
• Collaborate with team to meet schedules.
• Identify and report hazards for a safe workplace.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
