Job summary

Oakey Beef Exports, part of NH Foods Limited, is seeking an Electrician to join a skilled maintenance team at our Oakey plant. You’ll service, repair and troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, robotics and automated equipment across a diverse range of processes.

This full-time role operates on a rotating roster with early starts; safety is a priority under LOTO procedures. Applicants may be licensed electricians or current 3rd/4th year apprentices working toward Certificate III in

Qualifications

• Holding or working toward Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Experience in industrial environments preferred.
• High safety awareness and WHS knowledge.
• Ability to learn hands-on across diverse technologies.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair electrical systems across equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics and automated systems.
• Respond to electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures with safety priority.
• Support plant shutdowns, upgrades and capital projects.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime.
