Job summary

NES Fircroft in Roma, Queensland is seeking multiple experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our client. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, assembling and maintaining electro‑mechanical equipment within a safe, quality‑driven industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of electro‑mechanical maintenance experience, solid knowledge of AC/DC circuits and fluid power, and the ability to read drawings and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical or mechanical qualification.
• Minimum two years' experience in electro‑mechanical maintenance or a similar industrial environment.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, fluid power systems and electro‑mechanical devices.
• Experience with soldering, equipment assembly and electrical testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, computer and technical documentation skills.
• Oil and gas or other industrial experience highly regarded.
• Forklift and lifting/rigging licences advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, assemble and disassemble electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Conduct inspections, diagnose faults and assist with equipment repairs and modifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly documentation.
• Use electrical testing instruments, including multimeters, megohmmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Follow maintenance procedures and comply with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
