Job summary

Lancesoft Australia is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician for Roma, QLD. You will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and visually inspect electro-mechanical assemblies on-site.

You will rework, repair and modify non-conforming equipment, perform complex tests, and communicate technical problems clearly. The role requires advanced soldering skills and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or associate degree in electrical or mechanical field is required.
• Versed in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro-mechanical devices.
• Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and visually inspect electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
• Perform complex tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
• Identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting.
• Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
• Comply with HS&E policies and procedures.
• Advanced skills in soldering and assembling electro-mechanical devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow procedures.
