Job summary

GPS Electrical Services is seeking Industrial Electricians to join our Projects team in Sydney. In this hands-on role you will deliver electrical works across industrial sites, collaborating with the project team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

You’ll gain exposure to manufacturing, utilities and process environments, with opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow in NSW. A current NSW Electrical Licence and strong safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

Must have current NSW Electrical Licence.
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is required.
Strong safety awareness and OHS compliance are essential.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, commissioning, modifications and upgrades of electrical equipment, control panels, and switchboards.
Complete cable tray installation, termination of cable and mains, fit-offs and panel wiring.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently.
Interpret drawings, including architectural layouts and electrical schematics, to execute installations correctly.
Work on motors, pumps, VSDs, sensors and instrumentation.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site requirements.
Provide guidance and supervision to apprentices and ensure work quality.
