Job summary

Protech SA currently seeks Qualified Industrial Electricians for ongoing opportunities with a major switchboard and switchroom manufacturer in Adelaide. Great chance to build a stable, long-term career in a supportive team environment.

Role entails workshop-based industrial electrical work with Monday–Friday rosters, overtime, and weekend work. Immediate start available for applicants with an A‑Grade Electrical Licence and relevant industrial experience.

Qualifications

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence is required.
• Previous industrial electrical experience is preferred.
• Experience terminating large cables is highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, team-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Terminating large power cables up to 500mm².
• Cable ladder installation and running power and control cables.
• Installation of cable glands and accessories.
• Perform heat shrink terminations and point-to-point testing.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Cable identification, labeling and switchboard assembly.
• General industrial electrical installation and termination work.
• Safety-focused and quality-driven site practices.
