Job summary
Tongala Nutrition Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our hands-on maintenance team at the Tongala dairy plant. You will manage automation and site services, perform preventative maintenance, and work closely with production to maintain line efficiencies.
The role emphasizes troubleshooting, system upgrades, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach in a collaborative environment with strong growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Trade certification as Electrician or equivalent.
- Strong technical background in industrial electrical and automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and PLC ladder logic.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and reliable operation and troubleshoot across all lines and site services.
- Maintain and improve automation and control systems, including Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Support project work, installations and system upgrades.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance site performance and efficiencies.
- Source and manage electrical parts and equipment as required.
- Collaborate within a small team and contribute to learning culture.
- Commit to safety standards and detail in all tasks.
