Job summary

SRG Global is seeking skilled tradespeople for abrasive blasting and protective coating roles on structural steel and plant equipment. You will ensure surface preparation meets high-quality standards, applying coatings by brush, roller, or spray, and maintaining blasting and painting gear.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of trade experience, current Working at Heights and Confined Space entries, and desirable LF/WP licences. Pre-employment medical and site requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant trade experience.
• Working at Heights certification within last 2 years.
• Confined Space Entry certification within last 2 years.
• LF and WP High Risk Work licences desirable.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting to specification.
• Apply protective coatings using brush, roller, and spray.
• Prepare surfaces per coating/blasting standards.
• Operate and maintain blasting/painting equipment.
• Work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
• Follow site safety protocols and environmental controls.
• Read and interpret job cards, data sheets, and work instructions.
• Complete basic QA checks and report as required.
• Collaborate with supervisors and trades in a high-performing team.
