Job summary

Indoor Plant Solutions is seeking an energetic Indoor Plant Technician to visit offices and commercial sites across Sydney, caring for indoor plants and maintaining displays. No previous plant experience is required as full training is provided.

You will travel between client sites, building friendly relationships with customers, and perform watering, pruning, and general plant care. The role suits someone who enjoys being on the move and working independently.

Qualifications

• No horticultural expertise required; full training provided.
• Willingness to obtain National Police Clearance.

Indoor Plant Technician – Full Training Provided

Indoor Plant Solutions | Sydney NSW | Full Time

Love plants and don't want to be stuck behind a desk all day?

Indoor Plant Solutions is looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our growing Sydney team as an Indoor Plant Technician.

You’ll spend your days travelling to a variety of workplaces across Sydney, looking after indoor plants and helping us create great-looking green spaces for our clients.

No previous indoor plant experience is required – we'll provide full training.

If you enjoy working independently, being out and about, meeting different people and have an interest in plants, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be responsible for your own regular client service run, visiting offices and commercial sites throughout Sydney.

Your day will include:

• Caring for and maintaining indoor plants

• Watering, pruning, cleaning and general plant care

• Identifying plants that need a little extra attention

• Keeping plant displays looking their best

• Visiting a variety of client workplaces

• Building friendly relationships with our customers

• Working independently while being supported by our wider service team

You’ll be on the move rather than working from the same location every day.

You don't need to be a horticultural expert.

We’re much more interested in finding someone who is:

• Reliable and takes pride in their work

• Friendly and comfortable dealing with customers

• Interested in plants and willing to learn

• Comfortable with a hands‑on, active role

• Organised and able to manage a regular service run

• A good communicator and team player

Horticultural or gardening experience is certainly welcome, but it isn't essential.

What you’ll need

• Current Australian driver's licence preferred

• Ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred

• National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one

• Australian working rights

• Commitment to safe working practices
