Job summary

Beaumont Select seeks a Procurement Category Lead - Indirects to take ownership of a broad spend portfolio for a major Financial Services group. Hybrid working; offices in Manchester or Peterborough with 3 days on site, 2 from home.

You will lead end-to-end procurement across Indirects, developing strategies for FM, Marketing, HR, Prof Services and Operations to ensure cost-effective, scalable delivery aligned with transformation goals.

Qualifications

• Experience across indirect categories (FM, Marketing, HR, Prof Services, Operations).
• Proven ability to deliver cost savings and value.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management across tech and business.
• Data-driven approach with focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience in regulated environments advantageous.
• Professional qualification such as CIPS or CPSM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle across Indirects.
• Develop category and sourcing strategies.
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements and SLAs with key suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and supplier consolidation.
• Support adoption of procurement technology to improve efficiency.
• Ensure activity aligns with data security and regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Legal, Risk and the wider business.
