Western Sydney University offers 10 full-time, fixed-term Business Administration Trainee positions across Parramatta, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury and Kingswood campuses. The Ignite Indigenous Traineeship Program provides Indigenous Australians with hands-on administration experience while pursuing VET studies over 12 months.

Trainees will complete a Certificate III in Business, provide service and administrative support, maintain records, use computerised systems and collaborate with supervisors

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Certificate III in Business and undertake VET studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide service/administrative support to the workplace supervisor and business unit.
• Maintain records and filing systems.
• Use computerised information systems and related technologies.
• Prioritise own and other adhoc tasks to meet deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with workplace supervisor and colleagues.
• Build and maintain professional workplace relations with internal and external stakeholders.
