Job summary

Screen Australia’s First Nations Department seeks an Indigenous Australian professional to coordinate Indigenous funding and administer processes for the First Nations Department, including secretarial support to the Head of First Nations Content. This role collaborates closely with the Program Operations and Contracts Management teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and contemporary issues affecting Indigenous people in Australia.
• Experience providing high-level administrative and coordination support.
• Experience managing workflows and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Proactive in improving practices and procedures.
• Strong PC skills and experience with databases and online systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Indigenous funding and general administration for the First Nations Department.
• Provide secretarial support to the Head of First Nations Content.
• Liaise with Program Operations and Contracts Management teams to ensure smooth information flow.
