Job summary

NAISDA Dance College is seeking a senior leader to guide student wellbeing and engagement across the full student journey. The role focuses on developing outreach, strengthening pathways into NAISDA, and building strong relationships with students, families, communities and external providers.

You will lead accommodation services, wellbeing programs and critical incident responses, while ensuring cultural protocols are upheld and reporting informs continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Welfare, Social Work, Psychology or similar.
• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering integrated student support or wellbeing services.
• Strong understanding of, and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
• Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams and driving outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to implement programs and frameworks and drive change.
• High level organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Current NSW driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work outside of standard work hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage student wellbeing, engagement and support services across the full student journey.
• Develop and implement an outreach and engagement framework, resources and programs to strengthen student pathways into NAISDA.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, families, communities and external service providers.
• Lead, manage and develop accommodation services, including NAISDA’s homestay and on-campus living programs.
• Lead wellbeing, life skills and support programs to enhance student experience and outcomes.
• Manage health, wellbeing and critical incident responses, including after-hours and one‑on‑one student support as required.
• Manage student grievance and behaviour processes in line with NAISDA policy and procedures.
• Provide strategic advice, reporting and planning to support continuous improvement and the integrity of cultural protocols across NAISDA.
• Lead, support and develop the Engagement and Wellbeing Team.

Education
