Job summary

University of Melbourne invites applications for a Manager - Ecosystem Partnerships & Engagement (QLD, NSW & ACT). This part-time, fixed-term role (0.6FTE, 12 months) is based in Brisbane and reports to the Dilin Duwa Centre for Indigenous Business Leadership.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent senior experience in a related field.
• Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and bring lived experience to this work.
• Demonstrate strong experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or organisations.
• Build and sustain complex relationships and partnerships across community, corporate, government and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Manage programs and projects end-to-end, with strong organisational skills and high-level project management capability.
• Use Microsoft Office confidently and adapt quickly to new software, systems and digital engagement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional engagement initiatives, workshops and dialogues that are culturally grounded and aligned with Dilin Duwa.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships across the Indigenous business ecosystem, including corporations, government, universities and philanthropy.
• Drive business development opportunities, developing proposals, funding submissions and enterprise services that expand contracted revenue.
• Strengthen alumni, leadership and regional networks of Indigenous entrepreneurs and organisations connected to Dilin Duwa.
• Oversee programme delivery and partnerships from planning through evaluation, monitoring outcomes and reporting insights for improvement.
