Job summary

UniMelb seeks a Strategic Indigenous Leader to drive ecosystem engagement across QLD, NSW and ACT. You will lead culturally grounded dialogues, build partnerships across corporate, government and community sectors, and expand funded initiatives that support Indigenous enterprises.

The role focuses on relationship building, program management and end-to-end project delivery, with a strong emphasis on community impact, accountability and collaboration within the Dilin Duwa Centre for Indigenous

Qualifications

• Hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent senior experience in a related field.
• Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and bring lived experience to this work.
• Demonstrate strong experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional engagement initiatives and dialogues that are culturally grounded.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships across Indigenous business ecosystem.
• Drive business development opportunities, proposals, funding submissions and enterprise services.
• Strengthen alumni, leadership and regional networks of Indigenous entrepreneurs and organisations.
• Oversee programme delivery and partnerships from planning through evaluation and reporting insights.
