Royal Rasoi Indian Restaurant in East Victoria Park, WA, is hiring a Cook for a permanent full-time role. You will prepare authentic North Indian dishes, manage prep and cooking, and work with Chefs during busy services.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, has at least one year of commercial kitchen experience, and can uphold food safety standards. Salary is AUD 79,500–82,000 per year plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of relevant commercial cooking experience.
• Ability to prepare and cook dishes independently in a busy kitchen.
• Experience with Indian cuisine is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades and spice blends.
• Operate tandoor, grill and other kitchen equipment as required.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portioning and presentation.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Chefs and kitchen staff during service.
