Job summary

HealthHub Taree is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our busy general practice. You will work independently within your scope, immunise patients, manage vaccinations, and provide wound care and health assessments.

You will support GPs, contribute to chronic disease management, and perform ECGs and blood pressure checks. The role is permanent full-time, with a Monday to Friday 9am-5pm schedule and one Saturday per month, offering a competitive hourly rate up to 40 AUD plus super.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification.
• Immunisation certification or qualification to administer vaccines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• immunisations for children and adults
• Vaccine management and cold-chain monitoring
• Wound care and dressing changes
• Removal of sutures and staples
• Chronic disease management and patient education
• Assist with GP Chronic Condition Management Plans and reviews
• Health assessments and clinical observations (BP, weight, BMI)
• ECGs and related clinical tasks
