Job summary

Lumen Christi Catholic College seeks a Learning Commons Assistant to support the Learning Commons Teacher in delivering inclusive, student-centered learning. You will help students access resources, keep library spaces welcoming, and assist with literacy and research activities within a collaborative educational team.

Based in the Learning Commons, the role emphasizes relationship-building, proactive student support, and contributing to programs that boost student learning outcomes.

• WWCC required
• Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the Learning Commons and Library.
• Assist students with accessing learning resources and materials.
• Maintain an organised, welcoming library environment.
• Support literacy and research activities across the college.
• Promote a positive culture of learning and reading among students.
• Provide individual and small-group support as needed, collaborating with staff.
