Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and understanding of the AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in information technology with strong communication abilities.
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and inclusive education practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted learning support in-class, small-group, and one-on-one settings to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate adjustments and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Lead development and review of Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) with families and professionals.
• Apply evidence-based interventions to support literacy, numeracy, executive functioning, wellbeing and engagement.
• Coordinate and develop Teacher Aide support, training, and scheduling.
• Monitor progress and maintain required documentation including NCCD and reporting.
• Advise on assessment modifications and Disability Standards for Education compliance.
• Liaise with families, external specialists, and support agencies for coordinated student support.
• Support transitions and specialized programs (EAL/D, QCIA, post‑school pathways) and promote inclusive culture.
