Job summary

Coastal Lakes College in Peel region seeks an Education Support Teacher to join our Inclusive Education Department. The successful candidate will design differentiated learning programs and IEPs, and work with students requiring substantial adjustments to access the curriculum.

We value collaboration with families, therapists and external agencies to support student wellbeing and learning outcomes. A reflective, student-centred approach and experience with complex needs are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa.
• Mandatory Working with Children Check and Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly differentiated learning programs and IEPs.
• Lead classroom teams and collaborate with families, therapists and external agencies.
• Plan for students with high and complex needs using functional curriculum goals.
• Contribute to whole-college improvement through reflective practice and teamwork.
