Job summary

Coastal Lakes College seeks an Education Support Teacher to join the Inclusive Education Department in a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role commencing Term 1, 2027. You will design differentiated learning programs and IEPs for students across Year 7–12, focusing on inclusive practices and trauma-informed approaches.

The successful applicant will work with a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with families and external agencies, and contribute to whole-school improvement.

Qualifications

• Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
• Experience designing and implementing highly differentiated learning programs and IEPs.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and trauma-informed teaching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly differentiated learning programs and IEPs tailored to each student.
• Lead classroom teams and collaborate with families, therapists and external agencies.
• Support students with complex communication needs and high/complex needs.
