Job summary

Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a collaborative Program Coordinator to lead Inclusion and Engagement, strengthening inclusive practices and improving outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.

Working with the Principal and teams, you will translate policy into classroom practice, coordinate case management and targeted interventions, support EALD students, and help plan transitions and senior pathways while building staff capability and whole-school systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Inclusion and Engagement, strengthening inclusive practices and improving outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide educational leadership that builds staff capability and supports evidence-based approaches to teaching, learning and engagement.
• Oversee case management, individual education planning, targeted interventions and support for students with diagnosed or imputed special education needs, including EALD considerations.
• Coordinate transition support from primary to secondary school and pathway planning for senior students.
• Coordinate resources, NCCD administration and Individual Disability Allocation applications and funding.
• Contribute to whole-school planning and development with clear systems and processes for provision for students with special education needs.
