The Role

Ridge View SC is seeking a collaborative and experienced educator to lead Inclusion and Engagement, strengthening inclusive practices and improving outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.

Working closely with the Principal, leadership team and staff, the successful applicant will ideally provide educational leadership that builds staff capability and supports evidence‑based approaches to teaching, learning and engagement. A strong understanding of policies and procedures relating to students with special education needs, and the ability to translate these into effective classroom practice, will be highly valued.

The Program Coordinator oversees case management, individual education planning, targeted interventions and support for students with diagnosed or imputed special education needs, including students with complex behaviours. The role also coordinates support for students who speak English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD). Working with teachers, Head of Learning Area's (HOLAs), families and external agencies, you will ideally help ensure adjustments are purposeful, consistently implemented and reviewed using evidence of student progress.

A key focus will be building the capacity of teachers and the Education Assistant team through collaboration, coaching and targeted professional learning. You will ideally also play a role in coordinating transition support from primary to secondary school and supporting pathway planning for senior students, helping students and families prepare confidently for each stage of learning.

The successful applicant should exhibit strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage resources, coordinate the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) and oversee Individual Disability Allocation applications and funding.

The Program Coordinator also contributes to whole‑school planning and improvement, developing clear systems and processes that support consistent, effective provision for students with special education needs.

Leading by example, you should motivate and develop others, build strong partnerships and contribute to a connected and responsive approach that reflects our College values and ensures every student feels known, valued and supported to succeed.
