Job summary

Uniting Victoria and Tasmania Morwell seeks a KIS Engagement Officer to coach and develop Additional Assistants, supporting kindergarten teams across Gippsland. You’ll combine on-site visits with remote support to grow capability and practice in inclusive early learning settings.

You will build trusted relationships, model high-quality practice and enable colleagues to deliver safe, engaging learning experiences for all children, with hybrid work from Morwell office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or ACECQA-recognised qualification.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop others.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Additional Assistants across Gippsland regions.
• Conduct on-site visits plus phone/email/online support.
• Facilitate face-to-face sessions and professional development.
• Collaborate with kindergarten teams to create inclusive environments.
