As the In-store Marketing Operations Planner, you will act as the crucial operational bridge connecting our in-store marketing team, technical systems developers, and external print and design partners. Your key responsibilities will include:
Act as a core project team member for the development and maintenance of our Signage Management Tool (SMT). You will manage user access, upload artwork, and write comprehensive store "how-to" guides to ensure seamless store adoption.
Lead the audit and migration of marketing articles into the SMT. You will manage Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) distribution centre stock levels, execute the deletion of obsolete stock, and generate new barcodes and artwork updates.
Coordinate the end-to-end development, testing, and deployment of price ticketing enhancements across both paper and Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL). You will brief design agencies on customer-focused templates, collaborate with external vendors, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to resolve system defects.
Support key retail projects, rollouts, and activations. This includes point-of-sale (POS) briefing, production, and managing logistics to ensure physical assets arrive at stores on time.
Conduct store audits and detailed data analysis to ensure precise POS allocations for New, Renewal, and Fleet stores.
Manage weekly store requests and maintain close communication across internal teams (Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Centralised Ticketing) and external partners (printers, equipment suppliers, and agencies) to keep projects on track.
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, process-driven, and possess a strong blend of technical, analytical, and coordination skills:
A proven track record in marketing operations, system administration, or cross-functional project coordination within a fast-paced retail or supermarket environment.
A deep understanding of in-store marketing collateral (print and digital/ESL), signage management systems, UAT processes, and backend system coordination (such as Azure storage accounts).
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Suite (especially Google Sheets) or Excel. Experience with Adobe Pro, Graphic Design systems, or Adobe Creative Suite is highly regarded.
The ability to negotiate, collaborate, and translate complex technical requirements between developers, internal commercial squads, and external print and design vendors.
A sharp eye for detail when reviewing design proofs, typography, formatting, and technical system configurations.
The ability to navigate complex legal/compliance constraints and implement mandatory commercial ticketing guidelines.
An understanding of end-to-end print production, logistics, and distribution processes.
