Job summary

Carlyle Kingswood Global is partnering with a green technology leader to recruit a front-end construction lawyer for Australia and New Zealand. You will handle downstream procurement, minor works and consultancy agreements in-house and support EPC and service agreements alongside external counsel.

The role offers genuine flexibility, exposure to wind, storage and hybrid projects, and potential involvement in international opportunities across the Asia Pacific region.

Qualifications

• Requires law degree and Australian Practising Certificate (or eligibility).
• 4–6 years' PQE in front-end construction or projects law.
• Experience in private practice at top-tier or national firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate downstream procurement contracts, subcontracts, minor works, services and consultancy agreements.
• Support negotiation of EPC, turbine supply and long-term service agreements with external counsel.
• Advise contract managers on clause interpretation, payment security and claims.
