Job summary

Suncare Community Services – Rockhampton QLD is seeking compassionate in-home Support Workers to help older Australians live independently at home across the Rockhampton region.

Day-to-day duties include personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and assisting with appointments, with shifts arranged Monday to Friday in a part-time, community-based role. A driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required, with training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care, disability support, or community services is valued.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and access to reliable, insured vehicle.
• Hold or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Hold or be willing to obtain National Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home support to older clients in the Rockhampton region.
• Deliver personal care, mobility support, medication reminders and meal preparation.
• Assist with domestic tasks and promote social connection and community participation.
• Support clients to attend appointments and stay independent and safe at home.
