Job summary

Ozcare Cairns Aged Care at Home is seeking an In-Home Support Worker in the Atherton area to provide compassionate, in-home care and daily living support. This part-time role focuses on client wellbeing, mobility assistance and adherence to personalised care plans to help clients remain independent at home.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, covering a flexible roster, with travel between client homes and opportunities to contribute to high-quality community-based aged care services.

Qualifications

• Current Police Screening Certificate
• A reliable roadworthy vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Current Queensland driver’s licence
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Proof of immunity or willingness to be vaccinated against MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella and Pertussis

• Provide care and support to clients in line with personalised care plans
• Undertake domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Work with the care team using a holistic approach to every aspect of client care

In Home Support Worker - Aged Care at Home

Our Ozcare Cairns Aged Care at Home Branch is looking part-time In-Home Support Workers to support our clients across the Atherton area.

Your Role

As an In-Home Support Worker, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Undertaking domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements

• Current Police Screening Certificate
