Job summary

Lifecare Australia is seeking a Remedial Massage Therapist to join our Lifecare Homecare team. You will provide in-home remedial massage to older adults and clients with disability, developing tailored treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.

You will be qualified in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy, undergo required checks, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and education in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy required.
• Ability to work in clients' homes.
• Commitment to holistic, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Assess musculoskeletal concerns and agree on treatment goals with clients.
• Develop individualised treatment plans linked to client goals.
• Deliver remedial massage aligned with treatment goals.
• Support mobility, comfort and participation in daily activities.
• Provide services in clients' homes in a safe and professional manner.
• Educate clients on self-management, posture, movement and wellbeing strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Collaborate with Care Managers, Physiotherapists, OTs and other health professionals.
• Deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life.
• Recognise red flags and refer to appropriate health professionals when required.
