Job summary

Right at Home is seeking dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our Geelong team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing in their own homes.

We value compassion, reliability and a genuine passion for helping others. The role offers flexible shifts, ongoing training, and competitive hourly rates with penalties and travel reimbursements; experience in aged care or disability support is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, grooming and mobility assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Support clients with medication reminders and general health monitoring.
• Escort clients to appointments, shopping and community activities as required.
• Report changes in client condition to care coordinators or registered nurses.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards.
• Follow care plans and ensure safe manual handling practices at all times.
