Job summary

MiCare Ltd is seeking a Home Support Worker to assist clients in the Pimpama and surrounding areas, delivering in-home and community-based support to promote independence. You will work under care plans, ensuring safety, hygiene, and well-being within the client’s home environment.

The role requires prior cleaning or care experience, plus strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and care teams.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in home settings.
• Experience caring for elders in the community.
• Strong relationships and communication with clients and teams.
• Ability to use a smart device for care notes, rostering and MiCare processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver services within the client’s home to keep living spaces safe and hygienic.
• Provide services outside the home for errands and shopping when needed.
• Monitor client status and report changes to the care team.
• Complete documentation as required and represent MiCare in the community.
