Job summary

The role emphasizes compassionate, culturally sensitive care, building relationships with clients and families, using smart devices for care notes, rostering and administrative processes, and complying with pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a community or home setting.
• Experience caring for elders in the community.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and teams, including those with special care needs such as dementia.
• Comfort with using a smart device for care notes, rostering and processes at MiCare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home care services ensuring the client’s home is safe and hygienic.
• Deliver out-of-home services such as accompanying errands.
• Monitor client status and report as required.
• Complete required documentation and records.
• Represent MiCare within the community.
