Job summary

Southern Cross Community Healthcare in New South Wales seeks a reliable disability support worker to assist a 26-year-old female with traumatic brain injury in her home. The role involves helping her live independently, accompanying daily walks and supporting fitness activities.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, with training provided by qualified healthcare professionals. Applicants should have a valid driver’s licence, own car, and willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening, First

Qualifications

  • First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory).
  • Current driver's licence and own car with insurance.
  • Passionate about caring and client wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Community access for appointments and social outings.
  • Support fitness program (gym attendance).
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks.
  • Domestic assistance.
  • Cooking meals.
  • Documentation and reporting.

We are currently seekingreliable and compassionatedisability support workersto provide supportand assistance toa 26-year old female with a traumatic brain injury, this care will helpherlive independently in her home. Applicants must be interested in fitness and bewilling to walk with her a distance of 3 kms daily, prefers support workersaged26 to 40 years old.

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Requirements:
