Job summary

One Doorway is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to deliver person-centred care in clients’ homes and the community. You will support individuals with complex needs, promoting independence and safety under the guidance of the Care Team.

Roles involve personal care, meal preparation, and assisting with daily living tasks, with attention to documentation and adherence to care plans. A current Driver’s licence and NDIS-focused experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have experience supporting participants with high needs and complex behaviour.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to participants with complex needs, including personal care and daily living tasks.
• Deliver in-home and community-based care aligned with each participant's NDIS plan.
• Collaborate with health professionals, family and carers to implement support plans and manage risks.
