Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District invites applications for a Registered Nurse to join the North Sydney Centre of Northern Sydney Home Nursing on a permanent part-time basis. The role delivers community nursing care in patients' homes across the lower North Shore, using an individualized, holistic and family-centred approach.

The successful applicant will provide wound care, catheter care, medication administration and continence management, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse – Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and current NSW Driver's Licence.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers and a diverse range of health and non-health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality home nursing care using an individualised, holistic and family-centred approach.
• Perform wound care, catheter care and management, medication administration and continence management.
• Work as Primary Nurse within a defined geographic area or as relieving nurse as allocated.
