Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Minimum six months’ experience in home/aged care or community support.
• Current National Police Check.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle with third-party insurance.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates (within last 6 months).
• Genuine passion for enabling independence at home.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, practical support to elderly clients at home.
• Assist with daily living activities and home care duties.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families.
• Support clients to maintain independence and quality of life at home.
• Observe changes in health, wellbeing or safety.
• Communicate concerns to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
• Deliver care in a professional, respectful, client-focused manner.
