Job summary

Hillbrook Anglican School in Enoggera, Brisbane, seeks an enthusiastic In-Class Support Officer to assist literacy, numeracy and organisational learning for Years 7–12. You’ll work in class and small groups, helping students access the curriculum and build confidence.

You'll collaborate with teachers, support staff and families in a warm, inclusive environment, contributing to individualized learning plans and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students to access literacy and numeracy frameworks.
• Ability to work with Years 7–12 in classroom and small-group settings.
• Strong communication with students, teachers and families.

About the role

Learning Support at Hillbrook is delivered through an inclusive model, with classroom teachers and support staff working alongside the Enrichment Centre to help students access the mainstream curriculum. The In-Class Support Officer provides targeted literacy, numeracy and organisational support to students in Years 7-12, both in class and through small group or individual assistance, fostering independence, confidence and learning success.
