Job summary

Medlog Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Import/Export Customer Service Operations professional for the Port of Brisbane. The role focuses on managing customer relationships, coordinating cargo movements, and ensuring compliance within a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will work closely with transport, warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate bookings, documentation and timely updates, while delivering proactive communication and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transport, warehousing, container operations or shipping.
• Strong understanding of Import and Export processes.
• Experience handling cargo documentation, invoicing and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage high volume customer enquiries via shared inbox and phone.
• Coordinate Import and Export cargo movements including LCL, FAK and FCL shipments.
• Process bookings, cargo releases, documentation and job updates accurately.
• Ensure compliance with ABF and bonded warehouse requirements.
• Liaise with customers, transport providers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and invoicing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across customer service and operational processes.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
